Extreme Build for Youth is an annual house build with Habitat for Humanity of South Collin County where young people across our community from different schools, churches, organizations, faiths, age groups, races, and backgrounds are come together to build safe, affordable homes for deserving low-income families in our community.
Extreme Build for Youth provides an opportunity for nearly 800 area teens to learn new skills, participate in rewarding community service, earn service hours, and work as a diverse team to plan, sponsor, and build homes for deserving families. Youth not only construct the house in three months, but they also they plan and coordinate the volunteers, lunches, meetings and fundraisers year-round.
The cost to construct a new Habitat for Humanity home is $70,000. Thank you in advance for supporting Habitat for Humanity of South Collin County and area teens on this wonderful project. Your contribution combined with others in the community will make some exciting days possible for teens. This house will provide a low-income family with a hand-up, not a hand-out, and empower them to build a brighter future for themselves and their children.
