HfH-SCC depends upon the support of businesses, corporations, churches/faith groups, civic groups, and individuals to carry out our mission. Each sponsor provides funds for the materials and resources needed to build a new Habitat home or rehab an existing home. Sponsors are given first choice of build volunteer days ensure they have the opportunity to build and/or rehab the home alongside the partner families. If you would like more information on a Partnership/Sponsorship, please contact Sid Buniff at 972.398.0634, ext. 104.
Provide the funding to build a new Habitat home for a low-income family in our community. This is perfect for organizations who want to transform lives and community by working side-by-side with a Habitat homebuyer.
You can choose to fully or partially fund a house for a family in need. Each house sponsor has the opportunity to become involved in the family’s journey towards homeownership. This is completely up to the sponsor, but can include the following:
- Touring the home site with the Habitat Partner Family.
- Building on-site side by side with the Habitat Partner Family.
- Sponsors are given first choice of build volunteer days. Build days may be during the week or on Saturdays. Normal build hours are 8am - 3pm.
- Involvement in the framing-day ceremony along with the home dedication ceremony.
